Mathew Braswell
Matt (the sax man) is a Sacramento native. He has been playing saxophone for over 20 years, singing and doing karaoke for over 10 years, and also plays keyboards. In addition to being a great KJ, Matt has experience with studio work, projects, live performances, and fill-ins on saxophones and vocals. Matt currently plays in the Corner Pocket Band. He has also played with with many bands including Bluespace (R&R) Moonlight Swing (Big band), NewVintage Gruv (R&B/Latin) and After Hours (R&B). He has also been on call for groups such as Inner Soul (R&B), La Familia Loca (Latin), The Roadtest Band (50s & 60s), and Martin Beal (Big Band). Matt has one album credit with Mic Martin and the Blues Rockers' "One foot in Front of the Other" album. He played a soprano sax solo on track four "What is it About You." Matt is often seen with a sax around his neck at karaoke shows and is looking forward to being your KJ!
