John Cavanagh founder of New Dimension SoundThe owner and operator of New Dimension Sound Entertainment Services, he has been entertaining since 1985. He has been a Disc Jockey, Karaoke Jockey and Master of Ceremonies at events in Northern California as well as Lake Tahoe, & Reno, Nevada, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia. He hails from New Jersey and moved to California in the early 90’s, developing his company as a leader in the entertainment business. John currently resides in Lehigh Valley Pennsylvania with his daughter Caitlyn. He has the ability to perform for all ages and all types of venues, whether it be a corporate event, wedding, birthday party, college event or an anniversary.

Rob Lewallen

Rob spending a relaxing day out on the water.Rob is a professional singer and musician since 1989. He is also a DJ, sound engineer, and musical director for his church since 1994. Rob is one of the Best DJ’s in the Sacramento Area; Rob has done many gigs for many Departments of the State of California. He has also worked gigs for The Sacramento Rivercats and Many other corporations. He Does Clubs, Weddings and Private Parties all over Northern Ca. and Nevada. Rob has worked as a DJ, host, and karaoke jockey (KJ) for New Dimension Sound and Entertainment Services since 2003.

Harry Whalen III

Harry J. Whalen III has had a love for music from a very early age. He started out performing on stage at a very early age. The local City Centre would host talent shows, where kids would lip sync and dance to popular music. However, you could always hear Harry singing over the words. Never having a vocal lesson he continued to sing in school plays and vocal groups. After attending School in Orlando, Fl. for Audio Engineering, he went on tour proffessionally with his band for a short while. Discovering what it takes to keep a show on the road, His knowledge in engineering and his ear for music combine for a great mix For a Karaoke Jockey. He brings a mature experienced mind with a young hip edge to the mic & music. He has been hosting parties, Kjing and Djing events for over 10years.

Kaylin Drake

Kaylin - singer, actor and speech pathology major.Kaylin Drake has been around the music business since the age of four, when she began singing with her mom's bands. In high school, she learned to set up and run sound systems and how to be a karaoke DJ. Kaylin also regularly performs in local musical theater productions, such as "The Best of Broadway," "A Child Shall Lead Them," and the upcoming spring review "Noah." Kaylin is a college student whose goal is a Masters degree in speech pathology. She is also currently working on a live music project with two other ND Sound KJs, Matt and Shannon, along with some community musicians. Kaylin can be found working for ND Sound at the San Juan Club in Fair Oaks on occasional Friday and Saturday nights.

Mathew Braswell

Matt (the sax man) is a Sacramento native. He has been playing saxophone for over 20 years, singing and doing karaoke for over 10 years, and also plays keyboards. In addition to being a great KJ, Matt has experience with studio work, projects, live performances, and fill-ins on saxophones and vocals. Matt currently plays in the Corner Pocket Band. He has also played with with many bands including Bluespace (R&R) Moonlight Swing (Big band), NewVintage Gruv (R&B/Latin) and After Hours (R&B). He has also been on call for groups such as Inner Soul (R&B), La Familia Loca (Latin), The Roadtest Band (50s & 60s), and Martin Beal (Big Band). Matt has one album credit with Mic Martin and the Blues Rockers' "One foot in Front of the Other" album. He played a soprano sax solo on track four "What is it About You." Matt is often seen with a sax around his neck at karaoke shows and is looking forward to being your KJ!

John Caracciolo

John has been performing since 1983 and like many vocalists he started by singing in his local church choir. Inspired and moved to learn more, he continued to sing in his high school and college choirs, where he began his studies of music and voice formally. John has performed all over California, Nevada, Colorado, Texas, New Mexico and Hawaii and has been fortunate to have performed at the World Expo in Brisbane and for a small private group at the Sydney Opera House along with several major cities in Australia. John has been singing karaoke for the last 12 years, 8 of which has been as a key member of New Dimension Sound’s team. His musical tastes and influences range from pop, funk, disco, 80’s, hard rock and classic rock. John’s love and knowledge of music makes him a valued member of our staff.

Reggie Stafford

Reggie at Joe's Bar and Grill

Born January 9th, Reggie Stafford grew up in Los Angeles, California. Since 1980 Reggie has been singing and songwritting, having over fifty songs to his credit. With a nearly five octave range, he is known for his diversity. Whether crooning or wailing, country to jazz, Reggie performs with equal skill. A career in the U.S. Navy afforded him the opportunity to perform in numerous countries; England, Japan, Australia and the United Arab Emirates to name a few. His influences range from Lou Christy and Smokey Robinson to Lou Rawls and Barry White. Reggie now resides in Citrus Heights, California.

Shannon Castaneda

Shannon can also be seen on local stages.Shannon Castaneda has been working with John for many years, since they both began in the karaoke industry. She is also a professional vocalist and pianist, playing with several Sacramento bands and teaching voice and piano. A mother of five (including ND Sound KJ Kaylin Drake), she also works as the Director of Music Ministries for St. Mary's Episcopal Church of Elk Grove. Like her daughter, Shannon is involved in local musical theater productions, such as last year's "A Child Shall Lead Them" and the upcoming musical review "Noah." Shannon alternates with Matt on Friday and Saturday nights at the San Juan Club in Fair Oaks.
